About Church 212º

Dr. Mike Harrison

Our History

Lead Pastor Stephanie Harrison, alongside her husband, answered the call to ministry in 1974 and married in 1975. In 1977, Mike and Stephanie played a key role in starting a church, serving as youth pastors for three years. In 1982, they planted their first church as lead pastors in Cullman, Alabama, where they remained for 19 years. In 2001, they planted another church in Birmingham, Alabama, staying until 2006.

On August 3, 2008, Church 212° began. Thirty-five people gathered for 12 weeks to define the DNA of the church, crafting its purpose, values, and strategy. Dr. Mike Harrison passed away on March 6, 2023.

  • Our Purpose

Church 212° exists to restore people with the love of God, to ignite passion by authentic worship, and to reveal God’s purpose to our generation through the ministry of reconciliation.

  • Our Mission

There are 3 points of passion in our mission:

Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

    1. “In Jerusalem” – Our City.

    Our local church ministry.

Partnerships in the valley thru LOV Movement.

    2. “In all Judea and Samaria” – Our Nation.

    Church planting.

    Partnership with Mission America Coalition.

    3. “To the ends of the earth” – Our World.

Agape International: ministry school and church planting efforts worldwide.

Short-term mission trip opportunities and long-term placement of missionaries.

  • Our Strategy

The starting point for almost everyone at Church 212º is a visit to our weekend services. Salvation is the ultimate focus and priority. As a part of our strategy, we have a way to implement this priority on the weekends. Our weekend services have four parts:

    a) Celebration - John 4:23, 24
    b) Inspiration - 1 Corinthians 14:24, 25
    c) Preparation - Ephesians 4:11, 12
    d) Salvation - Romans 10:13, 14

Here's how YOU can win people to Christ:
    a) Accept the personal responsibility.
    b) Build a personal relationship.
    c) Share your personal story.
    d) Give a personal invitation.
